11/3/08 - Introducing OUTWAR ACHIEVEMENTS: Here at Rampid HQ, a team has been working hard for you to create the newest gameplay update for all Outwar players - Achievements! We are launching with 75 unique Outwar Achievements, with the potential to add more in the future. Achievements are based on RampidGaming account, so if you have completed the *Arthur Herbert Fonzarelli* Achievement on one character, it will appear as being complete on all your characters under that RampidGaming account. All Achievements are grayed out until the requirements for that Achievement are met. Achievements are worth 10, 25 or 50 points, but to show your leetness, collect ALL the Achievements to achieve the highest score. The link to view your Achievements and your Outwar score is on the Member's Page. Also, look for the Achievement icon in your toolbar. This orange icon represents the real-time unlocking of a new Achievement. We hope you all find the new Recruitment Competition format more fair and rewarding for all and are looking for some of you who haven't participated in the past to start recruiting more prey, err players to Outwar. 7/31/08 - Quiver Mystery Orbs: We encountered an error that did not give players mystery orbs on the Quiver server. (from the issue earlier this week). Mystery orbs have now been awarded correctly on Quiver. Please check your backpacks.

7/30/08 - Double Experience Day: For the next 24 hours all mobs in Diamond City will offer double experience when defeated. Now is a great time to quest and level up! Have Fun! Please be patient and the issue will be addressed tomorrow.

7/30/08 - Important Update: As you may have experienced, we encountered some technical issues late on Monday, July 28th. We have been working around the clock to make the game that you love so much, available for you once again. Servers Torax, Fabar, and Rancid, are unchanged, and are operating as normal. Servers Sigil, Zimbob, and Quiver, were not so lucky. Please review the information below for details on your server, and how they may have affected your character. The following information applies to the SIGIL and ZIMBOB servers: Character items have been rolled back to Monday, July 28th at 4am. Any items that dropped between 4am - 8pm on July 28th, have also been re-awarded. Random items that dropped during this time have been lost. Any vendor items purchased in the treasury between 4am - 8pm on July 28th, has been re-awarded. Points have been re-awarded for any gems purchased between 4am - 8pm on July 28th. All trades (player to player treasury sales) made between 4am - 8pm on July 28th, have been reversed. The treasury has been cleared of all player items. The following information applies to the QUIVER server: All gems have been removed from items. If you have previously gemmed an item, you have been awarded the appropriate amount of "magic gems". All augments have been removed, and lost, from items. If you lost any inserted augments, you have been awarded the appropriate amount of "augment packs". All randomly generated augments (not inserted into an item) have been lost. If you lost any augments, you have been awarded the appropriate amount of "augment packs". All randomly generated items have been lost. If you lost any of these items, you have been awarded the appropriate amount of "wrapped gifts". All randomly generated skill orbs have been lost. If you lost any skill orbs, you have been awarded the appropriate amount of "mystery orbs". All augment, and skill orb vendor purchases have been re-awarded to your character (everything since your character was created). The treasury has been cleared of all player items. Support If you are experiencing ANY problems with this restoration, please contact us. Our support team will do our best to assist you. Please know that we tried just about anything and everything to get the site back to where it was. In the end, these changes were the best possible ways to accomplish that. We obviously didn’t want this to happen, but we are trying to make the absolute best of the situation we have been handed. 7/21/08 - Item Scrapping: We added a new feature today! We call it "item scrapping" If you have a "junk" item, that you are planning on dropping, open your backpack, click the item, and select "scrap". If the item is something that can be scrapped, then you will be rewarded a small amount of experience for your "junk" item! After you scrap the item, some text output will display how much experience you got for each item. Every item gives a different amount of experience. We hope you enjoy! Be sure to refresh your backpack (push F5) if you do not see the Scrap option when you click an item. Also, the double experience day is now complete, be ready for another one soon!

7/16/08 - Various Updates: Just wanted to let you know about a few things we have in the works! In addition to The Buried Ruins of Bacaba next week, look for a fun, Outwar themed, Facebook application! The application will be available sometime next week on Facebook.com! Also, we have been installing new hardware to help combat lag. These improvements should be completed very soon. Hopefully it will cut down on the lag that some of you may be experiencing. 7/14/08 - E-check System Upgrade!: We have upgraded our e-check system for you. You can now safely save your e-check information for convenient future purchases. Also, we are going to ask to validate your checking account in a different way after spending a certain amount. In order to be verified to use your checking account, we will make two small deposits when you’re ready to validate and ask you to input those on a validation page. If they match, you will be able to use that checking account on that RampidGaming account for future purchases just by clicking it and your next e-check purchase will yield you double the points for the regular price. Current verified Big Spenders will be able to save checking account information, but need not worry about waiting to match the two deposits, but also, will not benefit from the double points – as you already have once. Level 21+ go visit Orguk Hungr in The Drunken Clam to start hunting down Outwar's worst criminals! - Rallis Cleaning Job should be fixed Monday. Level 25+ go see the Loiterer outside the Diamond City Gates to start killing some rats! Level 30+ go talk to the Loan Shark in Blackheart's Bank to get your hands dirty in Outwar's banking industry! Each quest rewards you with a nice chunk of experience and newly updated gear for your character!
